National Science Day Celebration 2025 (January 15 – February 28, 2025) Organized by: Sant Guru Ghasidas Government P.G. College, Kurud Supported by: Chhattisgarh Council of Science & Technology and NCSTC, DST, Government of India Sant Guru Ghasidas Government P.G. College, Kurud, successfully hosted a vibrant and enriching celebration of National Science Day 2025, spanning from January 15 to February 28, 2025. The event series was aimed at cultivating scientific awareness, innovation, and critical thinking among students. Under the able leadership of Principal Dr. A.K. Mishra and the coordination of Dr. Hit Narayan Tandan and Dr. Vikram Singh, the celebration witnessed enthusiastic student participation and a range of engaging science-focused activities. One-Day Seminar (February 28, 2025) A grand finale to the month-long celebration, the seminar featured distinguished speakers such as: • Prof. Dr. M.L. Naik • Dr. R.P. Mishra • Dr. Afaaq Quraishi They delivered thought-provoking sessions on biodiversity conservation, biotechnology, and scientific innovation, inspiring students to explore new frontiers in science. This comprehensive celebration truly embodied the spirit of National Science Day, commemorating the groundbreaking discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman, and succeeded in nurturing a spirit of inquiry, creativity, and scientific excellence among young minds.
