National Science Day Celebration 2025 (January 15 – February 28, 2025) Organized by: Sant Guru Ghasidas Government P.G. College, Kurud Supported by: Chhattisgarh Council of Science & Technology and NCSTC, DST, Government of India Sant Guru Ghasidas Government P.G. College, Kurud, successfully hosted a vibrant and enriching celebration of National Science Day 2025, spanning from January 15 to February 28, 2025. The event series was aimed at cultivating scientific awareness, innovation, and critical thinking among students. Under the able leadership of Principal Dr. A.K. Mishra and the coordination of Dr. Hit Narayan Tandan and Dr. Vikram Singh, the celebration witnessed enthusiastic student participation and a range of engaging science-focused activities. “Waste to Wealth” Model Exhibition & Documentary Screening (February 25, 2025) The event highlighted sustainable innovation and eco-conscious creativity. Winners: • First Place: Mr. Dipendra Kumar (B.Sc. II Year) – Water Purification Model, underscoring clean water solutions. • Second Place: Ms. Archita Rathi (M.Sc. Chemistry, IV Semester) – Table Lamp using Waste Batteries, promoting renewable energy concepts. • Third Place: Ms. Radhika Dhruv (M.Sc., IV Semester) – for her creative and resource-efficient model.
